NeuroTag Competition wasn't an average esports tournament - it was a groundbreaking fusion of gaming, mindfulness thrilling competition, and unforgettable fun.

The atmosphere at the NueroTag Competition zone was simply amazing!

All participants demonstrated a high level of skill. People were so enthralled by what was happening and many of them told us that it felt like they were transported into the future!

We had an absolute blast at the first edition of OWN Valencia Festival!
It was an incredible celebration of gaming culture, bringing together passionate gamers, industry experts, and innovative developers!
The festival was packed with exciting activities, from exhilarating esports tournaments to hands-on demos of the latest games.

We were particularly impressed by the diverse range of panels and workshops.

The NeuroTag Competitions were a particular highlight, generating immense excitement and leaving all guests thoroughly inspired and delighted.
Futuristic and mind-bending gameplay showcased the potential of NeuroTag to revolutionize the gaming landscape.

Mindfulness entertainment for Las Naves at VLC Game City

On July 19, Las Naves team came to try out the VLC Game City activities firsthand, including the NeuroTag Competition.

VLC Game City presented their current projects and plans for the future.
At the event, the Las Naves team was able to try out various activities:

  • Racing simulators from Ramboot that make you feel like a Formula 1 driver
  • A fully functional prototype of a unique VR application "Memòries en Cendra" created by the “Estudio Cendra” team, where you could feel like a digital faller@ master creating Ninots in virtual Valencia in honor of the world-famous Fallas festival.
  • For their part, our team organized a ranking NeuroTag Tournament where everyone could improve their skill in managing their mind and emotions.
Participants took the competition very seriously, and it was not easy even for experienced mindfulness and meditation practitioners.

Indeed, is it easy to meditate on stage under the watchful eyes of 30 spectators and an opponent in front of you?
But everyone did very well and was satisfied.
Even simply participating in NeuroTag Tournaments, regardless of the outcome, is a mindfulness practice, and even 3 minutes of play provides a valuable experience for each participant.

The winner and Master of Chillax was Marta Chillarón, who scored 335 points, for which we congratulate her wholeheartedly.

NeuroTag Competition at Esports City Fest Andorra

NeuroTag's first trip outside of Spain. This time, the Pyrenean gem - Andorra.

On July 27th, Esports City Fest Andorra was successfully held at the Centro De Congresos De Andorra La Vella, organized in collaboration with Andorra Business and Encom.
We had a ton of fun at the festival! The program featured must-have competitions, great music, and awesome influencers. Check out the website for more info.
The Andorran public got its first look at our NeuroTag Competition at this festival.
We surprised everyone with the NeuroTag Competition, where didn't need any gadgets. Just a Jedi mind and a chillax spirit!

From kids to esports pros, the Mayor, and top bloggers, everyone got to channel their inner Jedi.
It was a fantastic event.
The crowd was amazing, the atmosphere was electric, and the organizers were top-notch.

We can't wait to come back to Andorra with more mindfulness challenges.

Inauguration of VLC Game City: a successful start to a new era of innovation

On September 17, 2024, Valencia hosted the inauguration of the Valencia Game City initiative, organized with the support of the Valencia City Council as part of the Valencia Innovation Capital strategy.
The event attracted many press representatives, politicians, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts who came to learn about new horizons in the world of video games and innovative developments.
The Mayor of Valencia, María José Catalá, and the Councilor for Tourism, Innovation and Investment Attraction of Valencia Paula Llobet Vilarrasa proudly presented the initiative, highlighting its importance for the city's development as one of the leading innovation centers in Europe.
The Valencia Game City initiative is part of a larger plan to transform Valencia into a key hub for the development of technology, video games, and digital entertainment.

One of the highlights of the event was the participation of government officials in the game Neurotag, an innovative project that illustrates the synthesis of modern technology and the gaming industry.
Maria José Catalá and Paula Llobet Vilarrasa, showing an open interest in the project, not only played the game, but also had a lot of fun. They noted the original approach of the project, based on the use of neurotechnology, which opens up a new perspective on the interaction between humans and the gaming world.
Mayor Maria José in her speech emphasized that Valencia Game City not only strengthens Valencia's position as a video game hub, but also contributes to the creation of new jobs, supports talented developers, and stimulates economic growth in the region.

In January 2025, we successfully completed the "NeuroGaming School" Pilot Project in Valencia Game City with support of Valencia Innovation Capital. It is an initiative designed to enhance attention management and emotional regulation through an innovative fusion of technology and psychology.

This unique approach combined cutting-edge gadgets with neurofeedback, mixed reality, and advanced psychotherapy techniques such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Cognitive Therapy.

Our Key Objectives:

*Evaluate the effectiveness* of our training in conscious attention and emotional regulation.

*Assess gamification techniques* in capturing participants' interest and engagement.

*Inspire a focus on mental well-being* and demonstrate the practical value of these skills in daily life.
Facts & Statistics: The Impact of NeuroGaming:

*Interest in NeuroGaming: 91.7% of participants rated the training 4.5 out of 5, highlighting its effectiveness and relevance.

*Curiosity for Self-Development: 78% expressed a strong desire to further explore how the mind works, how to manage emotions, handle stress, and maintain focus in challenging situations.

*Power of Gamification: 79.4% identified VR Focus³ and NeuroTag simulators as the most engaging aspects of the experience, reinforcing the role of interactive technology in learning.
